I arrived at the company in Munich on Monday morning at about 8.45 a.m. Upon my arrival, I was welcomed by Carina Glowacka who showed me my work desk for the next two months, where I will be working from Monday to Friday for forty hours per week. She also introduced me to my colleagues and showed me around the company so that I would become familiar with it and its different departments. Later on, I had to do some official paperwork and signed my contract with Benner & Partner. Following my tour, I returned to my desk and Martin Reball, one of my colleagues, explained me the “technical aspects” of my duties and the handling of the Apple desktop. Then Thorsten Overbeck told me about the client FC Bayern Munich and what “La Famiglia,” a term that the company uses to describe itself and its employees, does in regards to the marketing of the FCB. I could gain some first impressions about the work and the different tasks of the department. The day ran by so quickly and soon it was quitting time at 6 p.m. I had a great first day, and I am looking forward to actually start working in the next few days and get deeper into the profession.
